HAYWARD GALLERY
EDUCATION PROJECT

The Hayward Gallery ran a Summer programme of digital projects for students in the London Borough of Lambeth. The first weeks project was Photography run by Gayle Chong Kwan, the second Desktop Publishing week was run by Graham Dolphin and the third week was Multimedia run by Katherine Green from Red Leader.

During the multimedia week, students were introduced to Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash and learnt basic animating and web design skills. Each student made an e-card from an animated sequence using Flash and then placed their e-card onto a webpage from which the card can be sent to friends by email. The students named the project Got the Moves.

We finished the week with a presentation by each student about their work.
